The man of many wonders, Dutch-Moroccan DJ and producer R3HAB returns today with a brand new release. For all of you who expect another high-energy banger: think again. And be open for surprises.
His latest release sees the DJ team up with Ella Vos. The two of them have already indirectly collaborated two times before when the DJ remixed the singer-songwriter’s tracks “White Noise” and “You Don’t Know Me“. Two years later, it was time to make it official.
“After I remixed Ella’s ‘White Noise’, we built a relationship that has lead us to this original release”, the DJ explains in a press statement. “Ella’s amazing vocals were all I needed to built a great production around.”
And that is exactly what happened. “Exhale” focuses primarily on Ella Vos’ sweet sweet vocals which are layered over a rather downtempo electronic production. It is a perfect combination of the two artists: indie-pop meets shimmering synths. It is a track that invites you to let go, breathe and relax.
